By accessing or using DonatedCarReceipt.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use this service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of DonatedCarReceipt.com, operated by Alpha Leonis Production Studio LLC.

What This Service Is

DonatedCarReceipt.com is a document preparation service. We generate a formatted IRS vehicle donation receipt PDF based solely on the information you provide. We are not a tax preparation service, a law firm, an accounting firm, or a financial advisory service.

The receipt we generate is a document preparation tool only. We make no representation that it will be accepted by the IRS, any state tax authority, any charity, or any other entity. The accuracy and completeness of your receipt depends entirely on the accuracy and completeness of the information you enter.

Your Responsibilities — Read Carefully

• All information you enter — including your name, address, vehicle VIN, vehicle year/make/model, charity name, charity address, and donation date — is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge.
• You have actually donated the described vehicle to the described charity on the described date.
• You have confirmed that the charity is a qualified IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
• You understand that submitting false or inaccurate information on a tax document is a federal offense under 26 U.S.C. § 7206 and may result in civil and criminal penalties.
• You will review every field on the generated receipt for accuracy before using it for any tax purpose.
• You will consult a qualified tax professional to determine your actual deduction amount and eligibility.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not verify the accuracy of any information you enter
• We do not confirm your vehicle's VIN against any title record
• We do not verify that your charity holds valid 501(c)(3) status
• We do not confirm that any vehicle donation actually took place
• We do not provide tax advice, legal advice, or financial advice
• We do not guarantee that your tax deduction will be accepted or allowed
• We do not replace IRS Form 1098-C when the charity is required to issue one

Refund Policy

All sales are final. Because your receipt PDF is generated and delivered immediately upon payment, we do not offer refunds once the document has been generated.

However, if you do not receive your receipt due to a technical error on our part — such as a failed email delivery or a server error during generation — contact us at support@donatedcarreceipt.com and we will resend your receipt or issue a refund at our discretion.

We will not issue refunds for receipts containing inaccurate information that you entered, for receipts that are rejected by the IRS or any other authority, or for any other reason related to the accuracy or usability of the information you provided.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DonatedCarReceipt.com and Alpha Leonis Production Studio LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this service, including but not limited to:

• Denied tax deductions
• IRS audits, penalties, fines, or assessments
• Errors resulting from inaccurate information you provided
• Any outcome related to your use of the generated document

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of this service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service ($2.99).

Prohibited Uses

You may not use DonatedCarReceipt.com to:

• Generate receipts containing false, fabricated, or misleading information
• Create receipts for vehicle donations that did not occur
• Submit fraudulent documentation to the IRS or any tax authority
• Circumvent tax law or commit tax fraud in any form
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our service without written permission

Violation of these prohibited uses may result in permanent termination of your access and may be reported to appropriate authorities.

Intellectual Property

All content on DonatedCarReceipt.com — including the website design, code, text, graphics, and PDF template — is owned by Alpha Leonis Production Studio LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of this website without written permission.

The receipt PDF generated for you is licensed for your personal use in connection with your tax filing only.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of this service shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
